For a special project in the Kinh Ngu Trang/Kinh Ngu Trang Nam (KNT/KTN) Oil and Gas Field in Vietnam, Hatraco has been awarded a tender to design and supply 2 hydraulic starting systems which will be used a s a secondary start system for a emergency diesel generators. These Cummins® QSK60 diesel driven generators will provide back-up power on board of offshore drilling and supply platforms in the oil and gas fields in case of black out situation. 1 hydraulic start systems is completely accomodated with EX (d) zone 1/2 electric components and mechanical instrumentation allowing it be operated in a zoned area. Both an electric driven recharge pump and a PTO driven recharge pump ensure a accumulator recharge cycle within 15 minutes of all 3 accumulators. The electric driven recharge pump is stand alone controlled by a pressure transmitter which signals the start system's control panel to cut in and out the pump and pre set system pressure and the systems.
