Hatraco designed and supplied 2 Air start systems which are applied as primairy starting system for Caterpiller® C18 diesel engine driven fire water pump sets. (FWP)
These FWP sets are deployed in the North Field East project from Qatar Energy, in a joint venture with the Japanese company Chiyoda and Technip Energy. This project and is the world’s largest Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project to date. (2022)
