Following the successful design and delivery of two air start systems for the North Field East Project, Hatraco has once again been selected to supply these systems for a follow-up development: the North Field South Project by QatarEnergy. The air start systems will again be used as the primary starting solution for Caterpillar® C18 diesel engine-driven fire water pump (FWP) sets.
This project is being executed in collaboration with the Japanese company Chiyoda and Technip Energies, the same joint venture responsible for the North Field development. The North Field South Project is a key component in the continued expansion of the world’s largest Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) infrastructure.
