ALTRONIC CD-200

CD200  FOR SMALL ENGINES TO 12-CYLINDERS

Beyond the CD1, substantial capability for this same class/size of industrial gas engine is avaliable in the CD200 Universal Small Engine Digital Ignition System. These innovative designs employ microprocessor technology and are fully configurable for a range of suitable 1-8 cylinder engine models and firing patterns. While utilizing the same single pickup arrangement employed in the CD1 system, the CD200 features complete application flexibility through the use of an advanced, ModBus RTUdriven, Windows™-based terminal program. Performance enhancement features resident in the CD200 include adjustable output energy and automatic timing adjustment curves. Diagnostics associated with system operation, as well as the primary and secondary discharge functions, are communicated via on-board LEDs as well as through the terminal program. Integral overspeed shutdown protection is also included. Two versions of the CD200 system are available. The standard CD200 systems (791070-X) are used with unshielded system components and ignition coils. For applications requiring service in hazardous areas (Class I, Division 2, Groups C and D), a special, CSA-certified series of CD200 systems is available (791080-X). This latter version utilizes shielded primary input and output harnesses as well as CSA-certified ignition coils (shielded and integral-style). Both the unshielded and CSA-certified versions are available in 6 and 8-output configurations.
